Meet Annet, a young lady who found a home at Heritage Children's Centre five years ago.
Annet's grandmother was her sole caregiver, and after she passed away Annet had no one to care for her. She was found alone in the house by a neighbour, and brought to the centre to become part of the Heritage family. At the time, she could only speak Swahili, but through her education at the children's centre she can now speak multiple languages. Annet dreams to become a teacher so she can help children. Take a look at this video to hear her story.
Annet sat for her mock (pre-final) examinations this week along with other children in her Primary seven class, as well as children in the Senior four (lower secondary school) class. The students are pictured here.
Annet will be sitting for her final Primary leaving exams in November this year. We wish her and all of our students the best as they prepare for their exams!
