Apostle Steve Davis and the Team Visit Heritage Children's Centre

Apostle Steve Davis and his team from Dreamlife Church visited Heritage Children's Centre during a missions trip in October. They were able to see the new classroom buildings in progress, and sit in on some of the children's classes. Another exciting development is that the centre now has two dairy cows onsite to provide an ongoing source of fresh milk for the children. Take a look at some photos from the trip.

Building Project - New Classrooms

One of the biggest needs for Heritage Children's Centre has been to build new classrooms to replace the original temporary dirt-floor structures. The new buildings will provide a much-improved learning environment for the children.

English Channel Swim for The Uganda Project

As passionate supporters of The Uganda Project, father and son Martin and Sam Smoothy took on the incredible challenge of swimming the English Channel to raise money for the children’s centre. The pair underwent an intense training program with long-distance swimmer Shelley Taylor-Smith in preparation for the 35km swim in July 2015.
